Private Sessions 3: Nazri

Talents: Nazri & Fish
Photographed by lee abrio

Another day of a soloist

The interesting part of shooting alone is that you don't have any assistants to hold your lights and reflectors when you need them and it's so much more frustrating to get your shot.  However, I managed to wrap it up earlier than a conventional 3 hour photo shoot.  That's more tiring than doing 500 crunches!! lol

I hardly shoot guys.  After this session, I think it's about time to scout some.  I found it more efficient since there is no fancy make-up required, less production, etc.  If anything, just a bit of powder is all there is to it.

I have been really itching to shoot outdoors lately and finally, the sky was so good to me this time.  The sun was giving me a good spill of a kicker light.  I'm loving those flares I added on the post lol.  I did use a bare 580exII on a light stand as my main light source - just a typical set up when I shoot outdoors (without my crappy softbox)

A big thank you to the team (if i had any).  Nazri, if you are reading this man, you did great in the photos.  Very orgasmic!!  lol And to my favourite model who is constantly growing up!!  Please cut it down love.  I love that fierce look!!  I got that alot from Nazri hahaha!  Cheers again guys!!  Hope to work with you guys again in the future.

Somehow,. i still love some of these headshots in B & W. just my own preference. =)

I took these photos last week.  It has been a busy week for me.  I had another shoot the next day, it was one of my private projects.  Yes, I have a lot of projects/ideas/concepts in my mind but I end up bumming in bed during the weekends haha.

This shoot was organized by my buddy Ezra with Ar.!!  His MUA cancelled at the last minute so we had to improvise.  Ezra did the make up lol!  That was a joke dude, just incase you're reading this. Next shoot will be more painful..

Sessions Eleven: Fish

Model: Fisha
Mua: Fee
Photographed by lee abrio

It has been ages since I shot her.  Fisha is one of my favourite portrait subjects.  She knows how to communicate with the camera and in front of the lens, which made our life much easier haha.  Hmm.. I'm thinking to run this blog backwards lol.  I dug up some of my old photos and I will post some of them soon.  I will be showing the transition from the first day I started photography as a hobby to my serious working sessions..
